Gloretta Baynes

Gloretta Baynes is a Cambridge native and alumna of Massachusetts College of Art. She is an independent curator and consultant, and the Associate Curator with Artist/Curator Rob Stull for Sequential Art, The Next Step. She is the former assistant director and registrar for the Museum of the National Center of Afro American artists, and was on staff and an active member of the Museum of Fine Arts Diversity Committee.

Gloretta is the current Chair for the African -American Master Artists in Residency Program (AAMARP).

Haiti Victorious 1 & 2 is a diptych that embodies the resilience and dignity of the Haitian people and culture in the face of adversity, natural and man-made catastrophes. The young girl and boy represent the strength and tenacity of the next generation of youth civic leaders.
